The Sligo Longford Institute of Guidance Counsellors are a group of qualified Guidance Counsellors from all sectors in education. We meet regularly to engage in Continuous Professional Development training courses and provide support to each other in our daily practice.
The North West Career Fest is our attempt to provide a platform for local professionals and National and International Companies, Higher Institutions and Education Providers to engage with and inspire students from the North West.
Our organising committee is made up of:

- Maria Taylor - Secretary & Guidance Counsellor in Summerhill College, Sligo.
- Atlanta McGloin - Treasurer & Guidance Counsellor in The National Learning Network, Sligo.
